Hiring: BI Data Analyst (Contract Role) – Dubai 🇦🇪

We are looking for a highly skilled BI Data Analyst with 4–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Reporting Solutions to join our team in Dubai on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IBM Cognos / TM1 (Planning Analytics), solid SQL scripting skills, and hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting. Experience in the Retail domain is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics models, cubes, dimensions, rules, and processes
• Schedule and automate TM1 processes for improved efficiency and reporting accuracy
• Build and support data analytics and reporting solutions for business stakeholders
• Gather and analyze business requirements, perform data validation, and ensure data quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve Cognos/TM1 and data-related issues
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to deliver scalable BI solutions
• Support Azure-based data environments and reporting workflows
• Assist in developing dashboards and reports using Power BI

Required Skills

✅ Strong expertise in IBM Cognos / TM1 (Planning Analytics) — Mandatory

✅ 4–5 years of experience in BI / Analytics / Reporting

✅ Good knowledge of SQL scripting

✅ Basic to intermediate Power BI knowledge

✅ Experience with DAX and Power Query

✅ Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities

✅ Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

✅ Retail industry experience is mandatory

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Azure services / Azure Fundamentals
• Experience with Python for analytics or automation
• IBM TM1 / Power BI certifications
