HR Specialist

Our growing company, Comtrade System Integration, is currently looking for a proactive and motivated HR Specialist to join our team in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The role primarily focuses on HR operations - covering the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, engagement, and development - with additional involvement in marketing and event coordination activities.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is organized and detail-oriented, and has a hands-on approach to creating a positive employee experience and internal culture.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

HR / People & Culture

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection process (job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, candidate communication).
• Coordinate pre-onboarding and onboarding of new employees.
• Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities, training sessions, and internal communications.
• Provide support with offboarding process.
• Preparation of internal HR reports.

Marketing & Events:

• Support the organization of internal and external company events.
• Coordination and procurement of promotional materials.
• Assistance with basic marketing and employer branding initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in HR, recruitment, or administration.
• Proficiency with HR systems, tools, and methodologies.
• Previous experience or interest in marketing, communications, or event organization is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an international team.
• Fluency in Slovenian and English (knowledge of Serbian/Croatian is an advantage).
