Account Manager – Cyber Security


Role overview

We are looking for a senior Account Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with enterprise clients in the field of cybersecurity and IT security solutions. The role includes identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, coordinating with technical teams, and driving long-term customer partnerships.

This position is ideal for a commercially driven professional with strong experience in IT/security sales and enterprise account management.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or Business Development roles within the IT industry
  • Proven experience working with enterprise clients and managing complex sales processes
  • Experience in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, networking, or related technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of IT/security solutions and consultative sales approach
  • Experience collaborating with technical, presales, and delivery teams
  • Ability to independently manage pipelines, forecasts, and customer relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Fluent English required; Slovenian language is considered a strong advantage


NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience working in system integrators, vendors, or distributors
  • Existing network of contacts within the Slovenian enterprise market
  • Experience with leading security vendors and cybersecurity portfolios
  • Knowledge of CRM/ERP tools (Dynamics, Salesforce, SAP, etc.)
