About the Role:
We are seeking a proficient Data Scientist to join Maltem Australia and our community of data scientists.
The consultant would help us create frameworks and methodologies around control groups and measurement of campaigns through different channels, but also be responsible for creating and producing features that would enable personalisation.
Your mission will be to join our client's Analytics Delivery team and help drive data-driven insights and strategies that fuel marketing campaigns and MarTech initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Analytics: Analyze marketing campaign data to evaluate performance, optimize strategies, and support decision-making processes.
- Marketing Channel: Design and documentation of control group methodologies for each marketing channel
- MarTech Analytics: Utilize marketing technology platforms to deliver actionable insights and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop models, conduct statistical analysis, and visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business strategies.
- Production Customer & Store Attributes: Implement and production customer attributes and store attributes to enhance targeting, segmentation, and personalization in marketing efforts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and data engineers, to ensure seamless delivery of analytics solutions.
- Machine Learning & Predictive Analytics: Implement advanced machine learning algorithms to optimize marketing efforts and forecast business trends.
- Insights Delivery: Present findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable format, driving data-centric decisions across the organization.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a data science or analytics role, preferably within marketing analytics or MarTech.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning with proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SQL, and relevant marketing analytics platforms.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the retail industry or a similar data-driven environment is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Data Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to present and communicate insights.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s or higher is a plus).
- Experience in Retail Marketing: Proven track record of working with marketing data to optimize campaign performance and drive growth.
Location:
- Role in the CBD, 2/3 days a week at the office.
