We are seeking an experienced Group HR Generalist to join a growing organisation operating across multiple sectors. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on employee relations and talent acquisition.

You'll work closely with leaders and employees across the business, providing practical HR guidance, supporting recruitment activity, and helping to foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture.




Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted HR partner, providing advice and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance matters.
  • Support investigations, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on employment legislation, HR policies and best practice.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives that support a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist with conflict resolution and facilitate effective communication between managers and employees.
  • Support the delivery of end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising roles through to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source high-quality candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, referrals and recruitment partners.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring performance.
  • Support the development, implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding and induction programmes to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Support performance management, employee development and engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the HR function.
  • Provide general HR support as required.




Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
  • CIPD qualification, or working towards one, is desirable.
  • 3–5 years' experience in a HR Generalist or similar HR role.
  • Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing casework.
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of European employment legislation would be an advantage.
