Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance and Analytics, the Senior Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting decision-making processes at Haventree by leveraging data to provide insights and recommendations. This role involves working closely with cross-functional business teams to analyze data and develop insights, recommendations, and reporting to support business goals. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex insights to various stakeholders.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform critical analysis to support Haventree Bank’s growth initiatives including business development efforts, innovation and new product launch
  • Experience in oral and written storytelling to share data driven insights in a clear, succinct manner
  • Data analysis and querying large datasets with SQL
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards with Tableau and other tools
  • Strong partnering approach with a commitment to meeting business partners' expectations
  • Learn new applications and processes quickly with minimal direction
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and operations, data engineering, technology, finance and treasury

Qualifications & Experience

  • Financial Services or Mortgage Industry experience (Preferred)
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in related field (Business, Mathematics, Engineering, etc)
  • 3-4+ years of experience in data analytics, information reporting, product strategy, or portfolio analysis
  • Experience in advanced SQL, data warehousing, and data visualization tools (such as Tableau)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Understanding of and experience with Salesforce data models, including standard and custom objects, and the ability to build reports and dashboards and join data across objects is strongly preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with change management processes
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to a changing environment and responsibilities in a growing company

Degrees, Diplomas & Certifications

  • University degree in Business, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience in related field

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, information reporting, product strategy, or portfolio analysis
