Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support the delivery of large-scale digital transformation initiatives within the Retail domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile delivery, experience managing cross-functional teams across web and mobile platforms, and the ability to drive execution excellence within a SAFe environment.The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove delivery impediments, promote Agile best practices, and ensure successful sprint and release execution while collaborating closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Development Teams, and Program Leadership.

Experience Required:

• 5+ Years as Scrum Master | 8–12 Years Total IT Experience

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Delivery & Team Facilitation

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and proactively manage delivery risks and dependencies.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and delivery excellence.

Release & Digital Delivery Management

• Support end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives across web, mobile applications, and customer-facing platforms.
• Coordinate sprint execution and release activities across multiple teams.
• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness and prioritization.
• Track and communicate delivery progress, sprint metrics, risks, and dependencies.

SAFe & Program Execution

• Operate effectively within a SAFe Agile framework.
• Support Program Increment (PI) execution and alignment activities.
• Collaborate with Release Train Engineers, Product Management, Architects, and Delivery Leads.
• Contribute to planning, dependency management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary Agile delivery facilitator between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Provide regular status updates and delivery insights to leadership.
• Drive alignment across business, product, and engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

Essential

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
• Strong experience within the Retail industry.
• Proven experience delivering digital transformation initiatives.
• Hands-on experience managing Agile delivery across web and mobile application platforms.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and delivery best practices.
• SAFe Certification (SAFe Scrum Master, SAFeAgilist, or equivalent).
• Strong expertise in Jira and Agile reporting dashboards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing risks, dependencies, and delivery impediments across multiple teams.

Preferred

• Prior experience participating in Program Increment (PI) Planning activities.
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise Agile transformation programs.
• Exposure to omnichannel retail, eCommerce, customer experience, or digital commerce platforms.
• Knowledge of release governance and deployment planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• SAFe Certification (Mandatory).
• Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred.
