Senior DevOps Engineer (Kong Gateway / API Platform)

Project Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a project focused on building a modern API Management platform within the banking sector.

The goal is to enable fast, scalable integrations both internally and with external partners, using a cloud-native architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain infrastructure for the Kong Gateway environment
• Automate infrastructure provisioning (including EKS) using Terraform
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for APIs and configuration updates
• Implement and improve monitoring and logging solutions
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Support development of an API Portal:
• infrastructure setup
• deployment
• CI/CD pipelines
• Handle migrations and continuously optimize the existing environment

Strong experience with:

• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Terraform
• AWS
• Ansible

Hands-on experience with:

• Grafana
• Prometheus / Victoria Metrics (or similar)
• Splunk

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Kong Gateway
• Experience with other API Gateway solutions

Preferred:

• Gdynia
• Gdańsk
• Warsaw
• Łódź
