L3 Network Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and intermittently improving our current network configuration and infrastructure. You will design our revamped network infrastructure with the goal of maximizing our network performance. You will also provide troubleshooting and configuration support by using your strong technical skills in Linux and Windows environments and IP networking.

Role: Senior L3 Network Engineer

Location: Romania – Fully Remote (Shift will be US Time like 5 PM to 1 AM Romanian Time)

Work Mode: Permanent

JOB DESCRITION:

• Configuring, Troubleshooting and supporting the Routing, Switching, Security and DNS/DHCP/IPAM a needs of enterprise customers.
• Install/Decom/Modify/Troubleshoot network elements remotely and in compliance with network standards, as part of Incidents, service requests, Change requests or Complex change/Projects requirements.
• Coordinate with field support engineers and other stakeholders to plan and execute complex multi phased changes to the customer network
• Coordinate /Troubleshooting complex network incidents involving the broad infrastructure components and technologies under stringent SLAs and timelines.
• Inventory and documentation management including creating, updating and maintaining.
• Interface with the customer architects, implementation mangers, vendors, operations, other engineering team and account team members to gather requirements for assigned tickets.
• Providing customer communications and technical troubleshooting documentation when necessary.

Skills required:-

• CCNA (L2) CCNP(L3) or equivalent knowledge in networking fundamentals.
• Strong working experience in Huawei/ Zscaler/ Palo Alto/Cloud connectivity.
• Experience working in LAN, WLAN, VPN, MPLS, IPSEC, GRE and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
• Experience supporting Firewall and security incidents.
• Experience in customer operations incident handling.
• Good communication skills. Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in interacting and effectively communicating with clients on complex high pressure troubleshooting bridges and war room situations
