Human Resources Business Partner (HR BP)

We are looking for a passionate Human & Resources (HR) Business Partner to join our team in France and play a key role in achieving our 2030 strategic ambitions.
What is your role?
As an HR Business Partner, you will be a key member of the Royal Canin France Unit. Working closely with the HR Director France, you will deploy the HR strategy and support our teams to shape an engaging, high-performing, and Associate-centric work environment.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, ideally within a matrix and international environment (minimum 7 years of experience)
- Strong skills in talent management, organizational development, and change management
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to coach and collaborate with leaders at all levels
- An analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decision-making
- Agility, proactivity, and a genuine passion for developing people and organizations
- Fluent in both French and English
What are your key responsibilities?
Strategic Partnership:
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to define and implement the HR strategy in alignment with business priorities.
- Provide insights and recommendations on organizational design and effectiveness, Culture, and Talent management.
- Support and coach the French Leadership Group to enhance its engagement and impact.
Talent Management & Development:
- Lead Mars' signature talent management processes: performance and development reviews (MDR), succession planning, and merit/compensation cycles.
- Support managers in executing the talent strategy to develop the organization's future leaders.
Culture, Engagement & Associate Relations:
- Foster a culture that drives engagement and performance: Support teams and hold them accountable to complete MAS (Mars Associate Survey) impact planning sessions and regular follow through to ensure actions to drive high Associate Experience are executed and embedded in the organization.
- Ensure a transparent and trusted Associate experience, in partnership with Associate Relations, our shared service center, and Rewards experts.
- Participate in internal and external HR projects aligned with our strategic priorities.
Organizational Design & Workforce Planning:
- Support the HR Director France in the design of the organization: workforce planning, recruitment– including spans & layers, WOW.
- Partner with business leaders, finance, and data teams to monitor key metrics (headcount, wages, turnover) and drive data-led recommendations.
