A leading technology organisation delivering large-scale healthcare solutions is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join a critical and high-impact project team in Finland. This role offers the opportunity to work on systems that directly improve patient outcomes and healthcare services, leveraging modern cloud and data technologies.

The Role:

The Python Developer will contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of backend services and data-driven solutions within a complex healthcare environment. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python
• Build scalable systems handling healthcare data and integrations
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) for deployment and infrastructure
• Design and optimise APIs and data pipelines
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and engineering

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Python development (e.g. FastAPI, Django, Flask)
• Experience working with APIs, microservices, and data-heavy systems
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Understanding of data security and handling sensitive information
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Nice to Have:

• Experience within healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with data engineering or analytics workflows
• Exposure to AI/ML or data science pipelines
• Knowledge of standards such as HL7, FHIR, or similar
