About The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced iOS Developer with expertise in SwiftUI to join our dynamic technology team in London. This is a 6-month contract position offering a hybrid work environment, combining both remote work and on-site collaboration. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and developing high-quality native iOS applications that meet our clients' needs and adhere to best practices in mobile development. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of SwiftUI, native iOS development, and modern mobile app architecture. The ideal candidate will thrive in an agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-centric mobile solutions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and practical experience, including:

• Proven experience in native iOS development, with a strong emphasis on Swift and SwiftUI.
• Extensive experience working with Xcode and related development tools.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Knowledge of modern software development practices, including version control, continuous integration, and automated testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks aimed at delivering high-quality mobile applications, including:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining native iOS applications that are scalable, responsive, and robust.
• Building clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Swift and SwiftUI frameworks.
• Integrating mobile applications seamlessly with RESTful APIs and backend services to ensure smooth data flow and functionality.
• Optimizing application performance, responsiveness, and memory management to enhance user experience.
• Conducting thorough unit testing and UI testing to identify and resolve bugs, ensuring high application quality.
• Supporting accessibility standards and implementing best practices to ensure applications are usable by all users.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, QA, and Engineering, to align development efforts with project goals.
