Overview

Working within the IP Backbone -Enterprise Network team to maintain and support Space42 growing network infrastructure.

Contribute to the design and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs

Responsibilities

• Provide Level-2/3 Network support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues within Service provider and customer environments.
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, CGN,DDOS,DPI Solution,VPN, QoS,Network Automation, Scripting, Infrastructure and cloud)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
• Monitor performance and ensure network availability and reliability including system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Contribute to the design, planning and implementation of enhancement projects.
• Select and implement network security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s Network team
• Liaise with vendors and other business units for problem resolution
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications or Computer Science
• CCIE,NSE 7-8
• Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) Engineer
  
  

Technical Competencies

• 10 years’ experience in Service provider (Satellite or GSM ) network environment.
• Network and security design Preparation.
• L2 network, L3 network and security traffic flow diagram preparation.
• Cable connectivity database preparation.
• IP address management IPAM.
• Rack elevation diagram preparation.
• Device physical installations.
• cable preparation, cable routing, datacenter experience.
• firmware upgrades/downgrades.
• Bandwidth upgrades and downgrades.
• ITIL Processes.
• Project Management.
• Planning, Configuration, testing, Documentation (HLD, LLD, SOW, ATP, AS BUILT, RFP, RFI, Operational documents for NOC).
• Training for operations and projects of network and security.
• 10 years’ experience on multivendor Routers and switches Cisco/Aruba/ HP/ Juniper/Arista/Extreme/Huawei).
• 8 years’ experience in WIFI solutions (Aruba WLC, AP, Clearpass and Airwave).
• 8 years’ experience Firewall solutions (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco).
• 8 years’ experience in Load balancers and CGN(A10, Baracudda, F5).
• 5 years' experience in Network Automation and scripting.( Ansible,Python, Terraform etc)
• 8 years' experience in AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• 8 years' experience in Nutanix and VMWare.
• 8 years' experience deep packet inspection engines (Sandvine/Allot)
• 8 years' experience in BGP,OSPF,ISIS,VPLS,MPLS,VXLAN,SDWAN,IPSEC,GRE,SSL VPN,RIP,QOS, Traffic engineering,STP,Radius,SNMP,NTP,LDAP, SAML, NAT, Fortimanager, Fortianalyser,Fortiauthenticator,Cacti,)
• 8 years’ experience in network and security monitoring systems like Cacti,PRTG,Solar winds,Grafana etc)
