AI Build Engineer (AI Product Internally Focused)

YZiLabs is looking for an AI Build Engineer to help us design, prototype, and ship internal AI products that directly support our investment and research workflows.

This role is ideal for someone who is deeply technical, highly product-oriented, and excited about building AI systems that operate in real-world financial and investment contexts.

What you’ll do

• Build and iterate on internal AI tools and products (LLM-based agents, research copilots, workflow automation systems
• Work closely with investment and research teams to translate ambiguous workflows into robust AI-driven system
• Design and implement end-to-end AI applications, from data pipelines to model integration and frontend tooling when needed
• Rapidly prototype and ship internal tools that improve decision-making, research efficiency, and information process
• Evaluate and integrate emerging LLMs, APIs, and agent framework
• Help define best practices for AI product development inside YZiLabs

What we’re looking for

• Strong engineering background (backend, full-stack, or ML engineering
• Hands-on experience building AI/LLM applications in production or near-production environments
• Familiarity with modern AI stacks (e.g., OpenAI APIs, LangChain/LangGraph, vector databases, agent frameworks, etc
• Strong product sense and ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Nice to have

• Experience in hedge funds, asset management, trading, or fintech environment
• Understanding of financial markets, investment research workflows, or data-driven decision systems
• Experience building internal tools for high-performance team
• Exposure to data engineering or real-time analytics systems
