About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Unity Developer to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing mobile games that align with our vision of gamifying the world with Bitcoin. You will own the entire development process, from conceptualization through to launch, ensuring that our games deliver exceptional gameplay, graphics, and user experience. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business units, you will help shape the future of our casual and hypercasual game portfolio. Your expertise will directly influence the quality and success of our products, making this an exciting opportunity to leave a significant impact on the gaming industry and the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with Unity game development
• Proven experience in publishing a mobile game from inception to release
• Strong proficiency in C# programming language
• Ability to independently manage projects with excellent time management and attention to detail
• Understanding of gameplay programming principles
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluent in written and spoken English
  
  

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm, plan, and develop new games from ideation to launch, ensuring innovative and engaging experiences
• Drive the development process by contributing suggestions and improvements, maintaining high code quality throughout the production cycle
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to develop high-quality products that meet customer needs
• Implement new game features and services in partnership with the Product and Backend teams
• Focus on developing THNDR’s casual and hypercasual game portfolio, ensuring top-tier gameplay, graphics, and animations
• Create, debug, maintain, and optimize the game engine, editor, and related development tools
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure robust and scalable game development
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in Bitcoin and the Lightning Network
• Experience creating and publishing games on Google Play and the App Store
• Ability to provide constructive feedback to team members at all levels
• Proven track record of successful mobile game launches
