Senior Project Manager

ACCPRO have partnered with a high growth solar and electrical engineering firm to recruit for a Senior Project Manager. The roe is responsible for overseeing teams of contractors and managing one direct report. 2 years in solar energy an essential requirement. Salary c. €100k + bonus, company car. Hybrid but some national travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple commercial solar projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
• Develop and manage programme plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and performance metrics.
• Oversee project delivery across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Manage contracts, resource planning, and cost control to optimise programme performance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, investors, utilities, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and issue resolution.
• Monitor KPIs and provide regular reporting on programme progress, cost, schedule, and ROI.
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and best-practice implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7+ years’ experience managing commercial or utility-scale projects, including at least 2 years in solar energy.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale programmes with strong budget and stakeholder management responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, grid integration, and energy market dynamics.
• Project management certification or recognised qualification preferred.
• Strong commercial, financial, and contractual understanding.
