Senior Python Engineer – in platform team [k8s, terraform, IaC] – Utrecht [Cloud Platform / AI – 90K base]

Are you looking to work as a Python engineering within the platform team and closely involved in AI? You will be helping to build an internal AI agent that will change how the current organization of developers works.

My client is one of the biggest commercial media and entertainment companies in the Netherlands. They’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join their core Cloud Platform Team, a group responsible for building and maintaining the foundational tools and applications that power the organisation's developer ecosystem. The team is working on an impactfull project: building an internal AI agent that will impact how developers across the organisation work. The tech stack is modern and includes Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS and Azure.

Your profile:

You are a strong Python engineer with a proven track record of building and shipping applications that real users depend on. You are comfortable with Kubernetes in production and have experience with at least one major cloud provider. Ideally, you also have hands-on experience building agentic AI applications.

Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years web-based Python experience (e.g. Django, FastAPI, Flask)

• Experience with Kubernetes for deployment in production environments

• Experience with cloud (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure)

• Experience/affinity with agentic AI apps
