Senior Python Engineer - Randstad

Our client is one of the biggest commercial media/entertainment companies in the Netherlands.

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer for the core Cloud Platform Team. This is a highly skilled team responsible for building and maintaining the foundational tools and applications that power the entire organisation's developer ecosystem. This is not a traditional engineering role, the team is working on a specific, high-impact project to build an internal AI agent that will revolutionise how developers across the organisation work. The tech stack is modern and includes Python, Kubernetes, AWS and Azure.

We are looking for Engineers who bring:

• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on Python as the primary language;
• A proven track record of building and shipping Python applications that real users depend on;
• Experience with Kubernetes for deployment in production environments;
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS or Azure);

Alternatively, candidates with strong Python experience and demonstrable production experience building agentic AI applications (e.g. coding and releasing AI agents) are also encouraged to apply.
