The Role:

We are looking for a Backend Developer to strengthen one of our clients' product teams, focusing on enterprise data integration and core business applications.

In this role, you will help design and build scalable backend systems and modern data platforms in cloud environments. You will work closely with senior engineers, architects, and product stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and high-value solutions in complex and rapidly changing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop backend platforms and data pipelines in modern cloud environments.
• Build and maintain scalable solutions for batch and stream data processing.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical excellence by staying up to date with modern software engineering practices and technologies.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to continuously improve platform capabilities and solution architecture.
• Participate in planning, prioritization, monitoring, and operational support activities.
• Ensure secure handling of data, including access control and data classification practices.

• Experience working with backend systems, data platforms, or similar solutions in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines and working with both batch and streaming data processing.
• A solid understanding of software engineering best practices and secure system design.
• Experience working in agile development teams with planning, prioritization, and operational responsibilities.
• A delivery-focused mindset with strong prioritization skills.
• Understanding of data governance, data classification, and access control models.
• Ability to effectively use AI and agentic development tools such as Claude Code while maintaining high standards for quality and maintainability.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is considered a strong advantage.
