We are now seeing increased demand for data engineering skills in several projects and are therefore aiming to add more strong people in that domain! 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Develop data pipelines and data platforms in cloud environments to produce validated, high quality data products for our customers. 
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Perform data analytics tasks and build an understanding of the data sets you are working with to highlight solutions and provide illustrative examples. 
  • Drive technical excellence by continuously staying up to date with modern data engineering practices and technologies. 
  • Work with senior engineers and architects to continuously evolve and improve underlying solutions.

In this role we are looking for people with the ability to combine relevant data to provide insights and tell stories. You focus on customer value without losing sight of data- and engineering quality. As a person you like to learn from, and work with, your team to find pragmatic solutions to the problems you face. Skills and background wise we believe your resumé contains the following: 


  • Worked on projects within data engineering and data analytics; with focus on getting the users timely, relevant data in a secure way. 
  • Experience from working with data warehouses, data meshes or similar in cloud environments. 
  • Good understanding of data pipelines, including batch- and stream processing of data. 
  • Delivery focused with the ability to prioritize and get the high value items done first. 
  • Knowledge of data classification and access control using roles and other methods. 
  • Experience from working on a development team and taking part in prioritization, planning, monitoring and operational support. 
  • Ability to work with AI assisted tooling, such as GitHub Copilot, where it makes sense; reviewing the output's quality and fit for purpose. 
  • Experience from cloud environments like AWS, GCP and Azure is a plus as well as having built data products using tools like Snowflake, Databricks and dbt.
