About the Role

We’re seeking a Front-End Developer (Freelance) to join our client’s high-impact team in Charleroi for a 20-month mission. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping digital solutions that directly impact financial services for citizens, working in a collaborative, project-driven environment where quality, security, and innovation are paramount.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting front-end solutions in a C# .NET / React / API REST / SQL Server / Git environment
• Leading and contributing to diverse projects spanning core business, support, communication, services, and governance
• Participating in the design and implementation of microservices-oriented architectures
• Driving continuous integration and DevOps practices, including the implementation of unit testing
• Engaging in technical analysis and providing tech lead-level support to the team
• Developing prototypes, visual mockups, and user interfaces with a strong focus on UI/UX
• Architecting and optimizing front-end project structures
• Ensuring rigorous documentation and maintaining the highest standards of code quality and security
• Handling sensitive financial production data with utmost discretion and security awareness

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in the banking or financial sector
• Proven track record in front-end development with a focus on security, quality, and documentation
• Builder mindset: proactive, curious, and passionate about continuous learning and technological innovation
• Ownership mentality: autonomous, rigorous, and solution-oriented with a drive for excellence
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to support and uplift team members
• Experience working with sensitive data and a security-first approach

• Next.js 13+ (Advanced)
• ReactJS 17+ (hooks, functional components, etc.) (Advanced)
• React Native (Advanced)

• npm, yarn, Git, HTML, CSS, SCSS (Advanced)
• Azure DevOps (Advanced)

Language Proficiency

• French: Native or bilingual proficiency
• English: Professional working proficiency

Other Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with the listed technologies within the last 5 years
• Strong analytical skills: ability to integrate information, draw connections, and propose alternatives
• Meticulous attention to detail and precision in all deliverables
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, with a focus on priorities and deadlines
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and autonomy in finding and implementing solutions
• Experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
