About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Unity Developer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging mobile games that align with our company's vision. You will own the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design translation to coding, debugging, and optimization. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the development of our casual and hypercasual game portfolio, ensuring industry-leading gameplay, graphics, and animations. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and business to deliver high-quality gaming experiences that captivate our users and support our mission of integrating Bitcoin into the gaming ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Unity development and professional game development
• Proven track record of publishing a mobile game from start to finish
• Strong proficiency in C# programming
• Experience managing projects independently with excellent time management and attention to detail
• Understanding of gameplay programming principles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a diverse team
• Fluent in written and spoken English
  
  

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm, plan, and bring new game ideas from concept to launch
• Drive the development process, offering suggestions and improvements to enhance code quality throughout production
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to develop high-quality gaming products
• Implement new game features and services in close partnership with the Product and Backend teams
• Focus on developing THNDR's casual and hypercasual game portfolio, ensuring top-tier gameplay, graphics, and animations
• Create, debug, maintain, and optimize the game engine, editor, and related development tools
