Head of Product Delivery
JOB location UAE, Dubai. Full relocation support will be provided
1. Job Purpose
Lead the end-to-end delivery of the organisation’s product strategy by managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely project execution, and aligning delivery processes with business objectives. Drive operational efficiency and foster a culture of collaboration to achieve impactful, innovative product outcomes that support the company’s long-term vision.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex products from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing product delivery teams across multiple functions, instilling best practices in Agile methodology and project management.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Design, and Business stakeholders to define requirements, set clear objectives, and resolve challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
- Implement and refine delivery processes, tools, and frameworks to drive continuous improvement in quality, speed, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish metrics and reporting structures to track delivery performance and proactively address risks to timelines and deliverables.
- Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring feedback and insights are integrated into delivery processes for enhanced product value.
- Manage resource allocation, budgets, and external vendor relationships, ensuring efficient use of assets to deliver products successfully.
- Act as an escalation point for critical delivery issues and proactively remove impediments to team progress.
- Drive change management initiatives to scale the organisation’s delivery capability in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning across the delivery organisation.
3. Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 12-15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in product delivery leadership roles within technology-driven organisations.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex products in an Agile environment.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, product management, and cross-functional team leadership.
- Expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and related delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in budget and resource management, and working with third-party vendors or partners.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and change initiatives for scalable product delivery.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master (CSM, SAFe) are highly desirable.
