Agile Coach

Responsibilities:

• Enable effective delivery Facilitate planning refinement daily standups reviews and retrospectives so the team can deliver value in small regular increments
• Coach agile ways of working Help the team apply agile principles flow feedback transparency and choose the right practices Scrum Kanban or hybrid
• Remove impediments Identify blockers process tooling dependencies unclear decisions and drive them to resolution with the right stakeholders
• Improve team health and performance Use metrics cycle time throughput predictability quality signals to spot bottlenecks and support continuous improvement without turning metrics into a stick
• Support product delivery Partner with Product Owners Managers to improve backlog quality prioritisation and clarity of outcomes
• Manage dependencies and alignment Coordinate across teams vendors and functions eg. architecture security risk to keep delivery flowing
• Promote good engineering practices Encourage quality automation and definition of done discipline testing CICD documentation
• Create a safe inclusive environment Build psychological safety so people raise risks early challenge constructively and learn fast
• Facilitate structured problem-solving Lead root cause analysis eg. Whys fishbone and ensure fixes address causes not symptoms
• Improve processes end to end Map current state remove waste simplify handoffs and standardise where it helps and ensure adherence to controls
• Drive delivery of improvements Turn ideas into implementable change owners milestones dependencies and governance
