Data Analyst (graduate/entry level)

We are partnering with a leading global trading firm to hire an Administrative Reference Data Analyst on a Fixed-Term Contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience within a high-performing financial services environment.

The Role

You will join a central Reference Data team responsible for maintaining the integrity of critical operational data across the business. This is a highly detail-oriented position with strong exposure to onboarding workflows, documentation processes, and internal stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Support client and counterparty onboarding processes, including data entry, updates, and quality checks
• Maintain and update static data, including wire instructions and account information
• Assist with vendor onboarding processes, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Coordinate and manage Give-Up Agreements (GUAs), including tracking and documentation
• Support ongoing data clean-up initiatives and follow up on outstanding items
• Process and track new broker code requests
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the wider team

About You

• 0–2 years’ experience in an administrative, operations, or financial services environment
• Strong academic background; Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
