We are looking for a Senior Business / Data Analyst to support a project focused on sustainability data and reporting transformation, working closely with both business and technical stakeholders.


The project is full-time and requires on-site presence at the client's premises in Luxembourg, in a multicultural and thriving environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Analyze and document sustainability (ESG) data points, including definitions, sources, ownership, and calculation methodologies
  • Classify and assess data readiness for integration into the Data Warehouse (DWH)
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for DWH implementation
  • Define and document data lineage from source systems to reporting tools
  • Contribute to data governance activities, including metadata management and glossary updates
  • Define data quality rules (e.g. completeness, consistency, validity, reconciliation) and support their implementation
  • Prepare mapping files and transformation logic for DWH integration
  • Support functional testing, including validation of data flows and data quality controls
  • Identify gaps in data, systems, and processes, and contribute to remediation plans


Profile Requirements:


  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in data-driven environments
  • Proven experience working with Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts and implementations
  • Experience with data governance, data lineage, and data quality frameworks is highly valued
  • Ability to translate business needs into structured data and technical specifications
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience in banking or financial services is a plus
  • Exposure to ESG / sustainability reporting is considered an advantage
