UNSW hosts a Node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Mathematical Analysis of Cellular Systems (MACSYS) - the worlds largest focused research initiative in mathematical biology. The Node currently has four Chief Investigators, three in the Faculty of Science and one in the Faculty of Engineering and will employ and train multiple early-career researchers and graduate students over the Centres seven years of operation.
