Project Manager - Freelance

Chain of Events, the team behind international successes such as Paris Blockchain Week and RAISE Summit, is looking for a Freelance Project Manager to lead the Machina project.

The Project Machina is a specialized event held alongside the RAISE Summit, focusing on the convergence of AI and the physical world (Robotics, Automation, Deeptech). The event will take place on July 7, 2026, at Station F in Paris.

The Role Acting as the operational right-hand to the UK-based Co-founder, you will also ensure seamless coordination with the co-founding team in Paris. Your mission is to serve as the local pivot for Machina, transforming strategic vision into operational reality by orchestrating execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Governance: Rigorous follow-up of the Machina roadmap.
• Monday.com Mastery: Centralizing workflows and ensuring full visibility for the UK Co-founder, Paris leadership, and the board.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaison between cross-functional teams (Ops, Marketing, Customer Success) and external partners.
• Local Representation: Serving as the main point of contact in Paris, conducting site visits at Station F, and preparing decision-making briefs for the UK leadership.
• Field Execution: Ensuring all milestones (sourcing, planning, production) are validated within deadlines.

Required Profile

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in project management (Tech events or agencies).
• Hard Skills: Advanced proficiency in Monday.com is mandatory.
• Languages: Bilingual English and French is essential for daily international collaboration.
• Background: A strong interest in AI, Robotics, or Deeptech is a significant asset.
• Soft Skills: Highly autonomous, structured, and capable of managing the complexity of an international event.

Mission Details

• Location: Paris-based (flexible with regular presence at offices/Station F) with constant UK coordination.
