DevOps Engineer

  • Work model: 100% remote (within EU only) with potential trips to Norway
  • Start date: Maximum within 30 calendar days (mandatory)
  • End date: Long-term cooperation

Project responsibilities and team:

Join a cross-functional platform team (consisting of skilled Developers, Software Development Manager, QA Engineer and Data Scientist) responsible for enabling data engineers to ingest and store customer data in SaaS product, making it available to stream-aligned (feature) teams as well as enabling fast and reliable onboarding, storage and access to customer data.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional experience and proficiency within DevOps field with development experience (.NET or Java)
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and cloud-native architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes/AKS).
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows, preferably GitLab.
  • Great knowledge of GitOps practices and tools (e.g., Flux CD).
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems and cloud networking concepts.
  • Experience with cloud security practices, including IAM, secrets management, and encryption.

Nice to have:

  • Ideally experience working with document and relational databases in cloud environments (e.g., MongoDB Atlas, Azure SQL), including backup, scaling, and performance considerations.
  • Ideally experience supporting multi-tenant SaaS architectures, including environment isolation, tenant provisioning, and scalability considerations.
  • Ideally familiarity with microservices architectures and event-driven systems in a SaaS environment.

  • Ability to analyze complex infrastructure and operational challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud, containers, CI/CD environments, and database infrastructure.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.


Teamwork and Communication

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to coach and support developers in adopting DevOps best practices.
