Launch Group are seeking a Scrum Master for a 12 month contract for a client in the consulting space.

  • 12 month contract - $590 per day inc superannuation
  • 4 days per week in office
  • Must be Australian Citizen, ideally with existing baseline security clearance

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitating core Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coaching delivery teams on Agile and Scrum principles, ensuring best practices are consistently applied
  • Removing impediments and proactively addressing delivery blockers
  • Supporting the Product Owner with backlog refinement, prioritisation, and clear user story definition
  • Promoting strong collaboration and effective communication across cross‑functional teams
  • Tracking and reporting on delivery progress, team performance, and Agile metrics
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high team performance
  • Supporting Agile governance and alignment with organisational frameworks
  • Engaging with stakeholders to ensure transparency, alignment, and clarity on delivery outcomes

Key Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching delivery teams
  • Hands‑on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage dependencies and resolve delivery impediments effectively
  • Experience working in complex, multi‑team or scaled delivery environments
  • A strong problem‑solving, servant‑leadership mindset
