About the Role

As Head of Operations, you will be responsible for building, leading, and continuously improving Wigiwama’s end-to-end operational system. Your role is to ensure that the company can reliably, efficiently, and profitably convert demand into delivered product - at scale, with consistent quality and predictable margins.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Manufacturing

• Own production capacity planning, scheduling, and efficiency
• Ensure consistent quality standards and cost control
• Lead process standardisation and continuous improvement
• Prepare manufacturing operations for new product launches and scaling

Warehouse & Inventory

• Design and optimise warehouse structure, flows, and stock logic
• Ensure inventory accuracy, healthy turnover, and risk control
• Align production output with inventory and demand forecasts

Logistics & Fulfilment (B2B & B2C)

• Own end-to-end logistics and fulfilment operations
• Manage carriers, contracts, SLAs, and delivery performance
• Optimise logistics costs, lead times, and reliability
• Reduce damage, returns, and operational exceptions

Operations Finance

• Own and improve real-life unit economics
• Control production, warehouse, and logistics costs
• Build reliable demand, capacity, and inventory forecasts
• Ensure operational cash-flow predictability

Cross-functional Operations

• Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
• Ensure operational feasibility of sales commitments and marketing campaigns
• Align priorities across departments and remove operational bottlenecks
• Build a process-driven, scalable operating model

Your Profile

We are looking for a pragmatic operations leader who thrives in founder-led environments and takes full ownership of complex operational systems. You are driven by building structure, predictability, and long-term scalability in growing companies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain
• Senior leadership experience in a physical product company
• Hands-on experience with production, warehouse, and logistics
• Strong background in export-driven or international operations
• Proven ability to build systems, processes, and structure
• Comfortable working in a fast-growing, founder-led environment
• Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
• Highly structured and systems-oriented, motivated by building long-term value, not corporate hierarchy
