Fractional Product Manager

We’re looking for a Fractional Product Manager to join a leading international digital product company through its Barcelona hub.(Hybrid – 3 days/week on-site, Plaça Catalunya)

This role sits at the intersection of technology and business, and requires someone comfortable going deep with engineering while keeping a strong focus on product outcomes and commercial impact.

You’ll work closely with a dedicated product development team and play a key role in shaping priorities, driving execution, and aligning stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Your team

You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional product team consisting of:

• 8 Software Engineers
• 1 Engineering Manager
• 1 Senior Engineering Manager

You will act as the main product counterpart for the team, collaborating daily with engineering leadership.

What you’ll be doing

• Own product discovery and delivery for your team’s scope
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements
• Work closely with engineers on technical trade-offs, dependencies and feasibility
• Define and maintain a clear product roadmap and priorities
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term product and platform needs
• Partner with engineering leadership to ensure effective execution
• Communicate progress, risks and decisions to senior stakeholders
• Use data and insights to inform product decisions

What we’re looking for

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager in digital or tech-driven products
• Strong experience working closely with engineering teams
• Solid technical understanding (APIs, systems, architecture concepts)
• Proven ability to connect product decisions with business impact
• Experience managing complex stakeholders and trade-offs
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments
• Hands-on, pragmatic and delivery-focused mindset

Nice to have

• Background in media, streaming, platforms or subscription-based products
• Experience working in international product organisations
• Previous experience in fractional, interim or consulting roles
