Job Summary


The Human Resources Assistant supports the HR department in delivering efficient and effective human resources services. This role assists with day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, employee records, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee support, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with applicable policies and laws.

Key Responsibilities


  • Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer documentation

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing employee files, coordinating orientation, and collecting required documentation

  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

  • Assist with payroll preparation by tracking attendance, leave, and employment changes

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures

  • Support performance management processes, including documentation and scheduling reviews

  • Assist in administering employee benefits, leaves of absence, and workplace accommodations

  • Prepare HR reports, letters, and other documentation as required

  • Help ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and HR best practices

  • Support HR projects, audits, and initiatives as assigned







Requirements


Required Qualifications


  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR practices

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
