Software Engineer (C#, Node.js, React)

Location: Sydney, Melbourne

Work Set-up: Hybrid (3 days Work on-site, 2 days WAH)

We’re partnering with a rapidly scaling data consultancy. They work with enterprise and high-growth clients, building modern software solutions that sit alongside data, analytics, and platform engineering.

This is an opportunity for a Software Engineer who wants to focus on great engineering without the distraction of constant client management.

The Role

You’ll join a product-aligned engineering team working on scalable, production-grade systems. The environment is collaborative, pragmatic, and delivery-focused.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and building software using C#, Node.js, and React.js
• Contributing to system architecture and technical decisions
• Writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code
• Collaborating with other engineers, architects, and Engagement Leads
• Supporting solutions through delivery (with minimal production support)

Engagement Leads manage the client relationship — your focus stays on engineering.

About You

• Commercial experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, Node.js, and React.js
• Comfortable working across the stack
• Strong problem-solving mindset and engineering fundamentals
• Experience in consulting or fast-paced product environments is a plus (but not essential)
