About the position

Join our backend team to develop e-commerce platforms, brand websites, and internal CMS/CRM systems that power content management, sales, and marketing operations. You will build backend services, integrate third-party APIs, and work on performance optimization. We value clean code, honest feedback, and learning from each other. If you genuinely enjoy building software and want to grow - you'll fit right in. Experimenting new tools or building something of your own is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Laravel backend services

• Design, build, and integrate REST APIs, including Payment and Delivery systems integrations

• Optimize database performance: queries, indexes, schema design

• Implement background jobs and queue processing

• Write and maintain unit and feature tests

• Review code and contribute to technical discussions

• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and analytics teams

• Participate in sprint planning and estimation process, and demos for business.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial PHP development

• Working with Laravel 9+, PHP 8.2+

• Experience with PostgreSQL: schema design, indexing, query optimization

• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ

• Experience with Docker

• Knowing of REST API principles, using Swagger/OpenAPI

• Confident knowledge and understanding of OOP, SOLID, design patterns

• Experience writing unit and feature tests (PHPUnit, Pest)

• Experience with Sentry (error monitoring and incident investigation)

• Proactive mindset and ownership of your work

• English B1+ (documentation, written communication)

• Fluent spoken Russian is required

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch: writing queries and using existing search functionality

• Knowledge of the principles of microservice architecture

• Understanding and experience in working with CI/CD (Gitlab)

• Experience in setting up logging and monitoring of complex systems

• Legacy code refactoring and migration

• Effective use of AI tools in daily workflow
