Senior DevOps Engineer

A well funded, fast growing LegalTech scale up is building an AI powered platform used by leading professional services firms globally.

With strong momentum and serious ambition, they are expanding their Product and Engineering function and are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to shape the reliability, scalability, security, and observability of a global SaaS platform.

This is a high ownership, grown up role with real influence. You will work across cloud infrastructure, automation, CI CD, and monitoring, partnering closely with backend, full stack, and AI teams to ensure the platform is fast, resilient, and easy to ship.

The role

Owning and evolving AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code

Supporting cloud migration and consolidation into AWS

Improving CI CD pipelines and deployment workflows

Strengthening monitoring, alerting, and observability

Partnering with engineering teams to support scale, performance, and reliability

Participating in on call and leading incident response and post mortems

Automating operational tasks such as secrets management

Improving security posture across IAM, networking, and data protection

Optimising cloud cost and performance

Using AI tools to accelerate diagnostics, automation, and operational workflows

Having input into infrastructure direction and mentoring engineers

What we are looking for

Strong hands on AWS experience

Experience with containerised environments and Docker

Solid PostgreSQL experience including performance and migrations

Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools

Experience building or improving CI CD pipelines

Strong observability and operational awareness

Troubleshoot complex distributed systems

Comfort working in TypeScript, Ruby, or Python based environments

Ideally we want experience across multiple cloud providers, exposure to data heavy or AI driven systems and experience in SaaS or scale up regulated environments
