For our Data Science and AI Team, we are looking for a Gen AI Engineer to join us!

What You’ll Do

As a Gen AI Engineer, you’ll work within Mimeda’s AI Lab team to transform advanced AI models into scalable products that power the next generation of retail media. You will bridge the gap between data science and software engineering, focusing heavily on Generative AI agents and automated creative workflows.

• Develop and deploy Generative AI solutions, including Agentic & RAG pipelines, AI Agents and

LLM-based chatbots for sales and internal operations.

• Manage and optimize Vector Databases to ensure high-quality retrieval for AI agents.

• Wrap AI models into high-performance APIs and ensure seamless integration with front-end

applications.

• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Full-Stack Developers to take prototypes from notebook to

production.

• Engineer automated image and video processing workflows (resizing, rendering, analysis) using

Computer Vision techniques.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or Backend

Development with a focus on AI.

• Strong skills in Python (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenCV, etc.) and SQL.

• Experience with Generative AI frameworks and Vector Databases (Pinecone, Chroma, etc.).

• Solid experience in building RESTful APIs (FastAPI/Flask) and understanding software engineering

best practices.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

• Curiosity and interest in Multi-modal AI (Image/Video generation) is a plus.

• An AI enthusiast eager to follow trends and experiment with SOTA models.
