Investment Data Analyst Intern - SQL (FY26 Summer)

About the Role

Join the investment team of a financial services firm with a strong analytical foundation, supporting research and fund operations through dashboarding, data tracking, and reporting workflows.

This position is ideal for students majoring in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or Computer Science who enjoy working with structured data and supporting real-world financial insights — without needing to build complex systems from scratch.

You’ll work with live financial datasets, maintain and improve dashboards (e.g., Grafana), ensure data integrity, and contribute to recurring reporting processes that inform investment decisions.

Ideal commitment: at least 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain dashboards (e.g., Grafana) used by the investment team
• Run and review SQL queries to generate regular performance reports
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across data sources
• Support weekly and monthly investment performance tracking
• Assist with ad-hoc data cleaning, formatting, and reporting tasks

Requirements

• Major in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic proficiency in SQL (reading and modifying queries)
• Familiarity with Excel, Grafana, or similar reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data
• Reliable, proactive, and curious about how data drives investment decisions
