Role: Scrum Master

Location: New York ny (Onsite)

Job description:

Required: 12+ years (with extensive experience in agile delivery and team leadership)

As a Level 3 Scrum Master, you will serve as a senior agile leader responsible for coaching, mentoring, and guiding multiple Scrum teams and stakeholders across large-scale programs. You will play a key role in driving agile transformation, improving delivery velocity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies across multiple teams and programs
• Act as a servant leader and agile coach to Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders
• Identify and remove organizational impediments to agile adoption and delivery
• Drive agile maturity assessments and improvement plans across departments
• Collaborate with Release Train Engineers, Program Managers, and Portfolio Leads in scaled agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
• Track and report agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, team health) to leadership
• Champion agile best practices and lead workshops, training sessions, and retrospectives
• Support enterprise-level agile transformation initiatives and change management

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in IT, with at least 8 years as a Scrum Master
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in complex environments
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
• Expertise in agile tools like Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, Confluence
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Certifications: Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), PMI-ACP, or equivalent

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in financial services, healthcare, or technology sectors
• Background in software engineering or product management
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native delivery models
