What You'll do:

• Develop high-quality, reliable, fast, scalable, and responsive application components;
• Maintain and improve multiple applications used across a global organization, contributing to architecture, design, and performance;
• Work within hybrid environments (On-Prem and multi-cloud providers) and collaborate with international partners;
• Use modern development tools and practices (IntelliJ, Git, Gradle, Swagger, Argo CD, Kubernetes/EKS);
• Contribute to continuous enhancement of the technology stack and application lifecycle;
• Develop interactive, customer-focused product features with seamless user experiences;
• Collaborate closely with the team, participate in reviews, and share knowledge across projects;

What You Are:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent education;
• Several years of professional software development experience;
• Strong experience with: Java 17; WildFly; Spring Boot; REST API design (JSON); Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL);
• Nice to have experience with one or more of: Messaging (e.g., Kafka); Cloud technologies; Data security concepts; Frontend development;
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with one on-site day per week (if near an office);
• Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork mindset;
• Very good command of English (spoken and written);
• Applicants must be based in Portugal.
