About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with deep technical expertise in Golang, Java, and Ruby to help us scale our core systems and build robust, high-performance backend services. You’ll work closely with a small team of talented engineers but remain heavily hands-on — spending most of your time writing clean, scalable, and efficient code rather than managing people.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services powering our resident experience platform.
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver new features end-to-end.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance as we grow.
• Participate in architectural decisions and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement long-term solutions.

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang and proficiency in Java and Ruby.
• Proven experience in designing distributed systems and APIs.
• Prior experience as a Tech Lead, with a passion for coding over people management.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
