Tasks

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Team Lead for our DevOps group. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a talented group of DevOps Engineers, ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations processes, and driving continuous improvement in our infrastructure and deployment practices.

  • Lead and inspire a team of DevOps engineers, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on achieving common goals.
  • Coordinate and prioritize tasks, ensuring the team's efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable infrastructure.
  • Drive automation initiatives to streamline deployment processes and enhance system reliability.
  • Support us in planning and designing the infrastructure of our products
  • Design, build, and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools to deliver high-quality software in the most efficient manner
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and deployment
  • Implement and maintain GitOps practices for version-controlled and declarative infrastructure and application management
  • Work with the Security Team to ensure systems are safe against security threats and set up security protocols.
  • Oversee the monitoring and troubleshooting of applications and infrastructure, ensuring a prompt response to system issues as necessary
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, automated, and secure release processes
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in DevOps, containerization, and cloud services.


Requirements

  • A degree or education in computer science and/or solid experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Leadership experience (people or technical leadership), with a track record in high-performing teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Proficient with Kubernetes and Docker container management
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
  • Experience with one or more of the main cloud providers (GCP, Azure or AWS)
  • Experience with GitOps and source control management tools like Git
  • Solid understanding of network, security, and cloud infrastructure
  • Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol and how HTTP-based microservices work
  • Knowledge of Java, Go and SQL is advantageous
  • English is no hurdle for you (at least B2-level required)
