Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion Traineeship

We are looking for a trainee to help implement HR, diversity and inclusion (D&I) initiatives and support several others, mostly related to learning and development and health and wellbeing, as part of the Human Resources (HR) & Organisation division.
The selected candidate will report to the Head of HR & Organisation and will work in close collaboration with the office of the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Actively contribute to the development and implementation of D&I initiatives, as well as various HR projects and initiatives.
- Regularly liaise with staff to prepare and post news articles related to D&I and HR topics on the ESM intranet.
- Support and collaborate with staff-led groups to promote collective and individual health and well-being initiatives.
- Help organise internal meetings and events related to D&I and other HR initiatives.
- Help with the planning and administration of induction and training sessions as part of the HR team’s daily learning and development activities.
- Support the preparation of presentations, notes, and other documentation related to D&I and HR more generally.
- Research HR, D&I, and learning development best practices and trends.
KEY BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
- A candidate (or recent graduate within one year of graduation) for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of psychology, business administration, communications, HR, or another discipline related to the content of the traineeship
- Prior experience in an international and multicultural environment would be an asset
- Strong interest in D&I and HR practices
- IT literate – proficient user of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with capabilities in using Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint Online beneficial
- Excellent oral and written English skills

- Expected start date: January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter
- Duration: six months, renewable
- Competitive traineeship allowance granted
