Senior Security Analyst, DLP Security:

On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Sr Security Analyst DLP Security for a 5-month role. This position is a hybrid position with onsite presence at our client’s Toronto office at least once a week.

Senior Security Analyst, DLP Security - Job Description:

The project, involves enhancing data protection capabilities across global business lines for subsidiaries. The role focuses on supporting data identification, documentation, residual risk assessment, access reduction, and enhancing data loss prevention controls for bulk sensitive data at Client's subsidiaries

Senior Security Analyst, DLP Security - Responsibilities:

• Build, create, and manage data loss prevention policies for the Bank

• Collaborate with various teams to create policies and work with vendors for infrastructure updates

• Work with large software products such as Trellix, Forcepoint, Broadcom, Zscaler, GCP, Proofpoint, Big ID, and Microsoft

• Collaborate with other teams to support data protection objectives

• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases

• Identify security issues and risks and develop mitigation plans

Senior Security Analyst,DLP Security - Mandatory Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in IT Security Analyst or Cybersecurity Role

• 2+ years of combined experience in DLP technologies: McAfee/ Trellix, Proofpoint, Zscaler, or Symantec DLP

• 2+ years of experience monitoring or investigating DLP incidents directly in application or console

• 3+ years of experience with end-user troubleshooting, preferably using Windows

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge in Excel

Senior Security Analyst,, DLP Security – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience from Banking/Financial Institutions

• Experience in international regulatory and compliance frameworks

• Experience in infrastructure or application-level vulnerability testing and auditing

• Experience with Automation, APIs, and SaaS services

• Applicable security certifications (McAfee/ Trellix, Proofpoint, Zscaler, or similar)

Technical Local Coordinators, DLP Security – Assignment Length:

This is a 5-month contract with the possibility of extension and conversion to FTE.
