Project Coordinator

MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a talented Project Coordinator to join our client, a forward-thinking General Contractor based in Surrey, BC. Key Responsibilities

• Support multiple Project Managers with daily project activities.
• Manage project startup tasks: issuing contracts, requesting insurance and bonds, WCB notices, etc.
• Maintain project documentation using Timberline and Microsoft software: budgets, labour/materials/equipment tracking, submittals, schedules, meeting minutes, change orders.
• Interface with subtrades, suppliers, clients, architects, and consultants to resolve project issues and maintain positive relationships.
• Ensure meticulous project organization and reporting.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction industry experience (General Contractor experience preferred, Trade Contractor experience considered).
• Post-secondary or technical education in construction or related field (e.g., BCIT) preferred.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work independently while supporting a team.
• Honest, personable, and proactive in problem-solving.
