The role

As a junior to mid-level Software Engineer you will work alongside our engineering team and support them with various tasks required in bringing the Frieda vision to life. The ideal candidate will have experience developing frontend applications and ideally some exposure to designing and integrating backend APIs.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement features that span across frontend and backend systems
  • Write clean, secure, maintainable code that adheres to our teams best practices
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving bugs
  • Support the testing and deployment of new features via CI/CD
  • Participate in code reviews to receive and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with the wider engineering team, product managers, UX/UI designers, medical and regulatory experts to enhance our core products
  • Enthusiasm to learn technologies you're less familiar with

You may be a great fit if you have these skills and values

  • 2 years of development experience with a strong understanding of front end development
  • Proficiency in mobile or web development using frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or React
  • Experience in back end development using Spring Boot/Kotlin or a comparable stack is beneficial
  • Good understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies, docker, or CI/CD is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for leveraging technology to improve health and well-being
