Senior Service Delivery Manager

HAYS IT is assisting one of their clients, a leading telecommunications and digital services provider, in their search for a freelance Agile Service Delivery Manager. The candidate is expected to work full-time, with the office location in Mechelen.

The ideal candidate has:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in service delivery and vendor management

• Hands-on experience in agile delivery environments

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Leadership and coaching capabilities

• Strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities

• Initiative-driven and focused on continuous improvement

• Thorough ITIL experience

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Suite

• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus

This is a strategic role within the Data Build Cluster, focused on bridging vendor-based scrum teams and internal governance stakeholders. You’ll monitor sprint delivery, manage KPIs, drive agile maturity, and lead service improvement initiatives. The role requires a strong operational mindset, coaching capabilities, and the ability to foster autonomy and efficiency across teams.

This is a long-term freelance assignment starting on September 15th, 2025 and running until December 31st, 2025, with a very likely extension until the end of 2026. The client offers a hybrid working model, combining office presence with remote flexibility.
