We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to help secure our client's organizational critical infrastructure and ensure a safe digital environment for their customers and employees.


SUMMARY


As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a key role in safeguarding our client's networks and data. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats, as well as developing strategies to prevent potential breaches. This is a critical role that requires a proactive approach and an eye for detail.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify potential threats or breaches.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and regular security audits.
  • Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic analysis as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement security policies.
  • Stay updated with the latest cyber threats and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of security incidents, risks, and mitigation actions.
  • Educate and train team members on security best practices.


REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC2.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and anti-virus software.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, scripting languages (e.g., Python), and penetration testing tools.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


NICE-TO-HAVES


  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+).
  • Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices for data protection.
