Our client is a multinational financial institution with a bold transformation agenda, delivering large-scale, multi-year initiatives across its international operations. They are investing heavily in SaaS platforms, cloud adoption, and data-driven innovation, while also strengthening regulatory compliance and operational resilience. To support this strategy, they require a proven transformation leader to oversee one of the most critical banking initiatives in their portfolio.

Who should apply?

We are seeking an experienced transformation leader with a background in consulting, financial services, and enterprise delivery. You will have:

• 10+ years in programme or portfolio management, with substantial experience in banking transformation
• Proven record delivering large-scale change for Tier 1 banks or equivalent financial institutions
• Consulting pedigree (Big 4 or similar) with strong commercial awareness and client-facing delivery skills
• Experience in regulated banking environments, ideally including KYC, AML, payments, and operational resilience
• Strong understanding of SaaS, cloud, and digital delivery in complex, multi-jurisdictional contexts
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at C-suite level
• Leadership experience managing senior programme managers and large cross-functional delivery teams

Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting to the Global Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Transformation Leadership – Own delivery of a high-profile, multi-jurisdictional banking transformation
• Executive Stakeholder Management – Act as senior contact for global C-suite sponsors and steering committees
• Strategic Delivery Alignment – Ensure outcomes align with long-term banking and regulatory objectives
• Governance & Control – Implement delivery governance, risk management, and tooling (e.g. Jira, ADO) across all workstreams
• Commercial & Resource Oversight – Manage budgets, resourcing, and vendor agreements for a €30m+ portfolio
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with operations, compliance, and product leaders across multiple geographies
• Team Leadership – Lead, coach, and mentor programme managers, promoting consistent delivery excellence
