Project Manager - Information Management

Role Overview:

In this role, you'll be managing a project focused on building and implementing a comprehensive Information Management strategy, working directly with SharePoint and Purview to improve data governance. Reporting to the IT Portfolio Delivery Manager, you will develop solutions that align with privacy regulations and support best practices in data security. You will consult with teams to address their unique requirements and assist in adapting new data management practices across the organisation.

Through your efforts, you will drive forward key initiatives that are set to enhance compliance, and introduce strategic data practices that are both accessible and effective for all users.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a structured Information Management roadmap
• Lead data privacy, compliance, and information governance practices
• Drive team collaboration, ensuring alignment on data security and compliance frameworks
• Utilise SharePoint and Purview for effective project management and task delegation
• Build policies that meet Privacy Act and regulatory requirements
• Integrate innovative AI tools to support project success and future needs
• Monitor and adjust project delivery to ensure outcomes are met effectively

You are a highly adaptable Project Manager with a strong background in application integration and Information Management, particularly in the realms of data privacy and compliance. With proven expertise in using tools like SharePoint and Purview, you have successfully overseen complex projects that required balancing regulatory standards with user-friendly implementation. You're adept at assessing organisational needs, creating strategic roadmaps, and introducing processes that align with both operational and compliance requirements.

Ideally, you bring experience within the mining or resources sector, though your success is built on a flexible, outcomes-oriented approach to project management that can adapt across industries.
